So technically this is my first road trip. I consider a road trip to be when you stop in a city for a day or two and then move on to the next and this is my first time doing so.
I am currently in Kentucky and have been since yesterday evening! Kentucky is one of my favorite states to visit mainly because the large population of horse people but I also love the scenery. There are beautiful rolling hills and emerald-green Kentucky grass(if you have been to Kentucky then you know I am not exaggorating on this). We are staying in Bowling Green, Kentucky with my bestfriends moms, bestfriend... hope that made since. So how about the son, of the man of the house(its much easier saying that then explaining who he is) is the lead guitarest in the band Weezer and helps write most of the songs! How freaking cool is that!!!!! If you don't know who Weezer is then look up the song "Say It Ain't So". You have most likley have heard of this song unless you are still a small, sad, boring human child who has no intrest in music.
Oh wait. Back up. I learned how to long board Tuesday! I didn't fall off but had a couple of close calls. I thought I was going to get bored of it but I secretly really like it. However, I could not explain to you why I like it considering I can only go so fast without getting the "wobbles". Either way. Almost falling off or only being able to go 2mph, its fun.
Side note: I just read a quote and it said, "I gave the wrong people, the right pieces of me." I strongly identify with this quote but more indirctley then you are probably thinking. I identify with it in the sense that I don't let people in or let people get to know me, out of fear that I will get rejected or they will learn all my little kinks and then leave. Then I would have wasted my time trying to learn everything about them and them about me. Right?
Anyway! We visited Vanderbuilt today(which is in Nashville, Tennessee for those of you who don't know). Its a beautiful campus but it is defintily not the school for me. It is more of a law, education, medical, and music school. If I ever decide to change my major, I would change it to bio-engineering. So then I would try and go to Vanderbuilt. I'm pretty set on being a equine vet so until that changes it is a no for Vanderbuilt.
I weighed myself today and in the past month and a half I have lost about 15/20lbs. Awesome. Yay. Healthiness. Yeahhhh no. None of it was on purpose. I swear I'm not anorexic or bulimic. I just can't eat alot of food anymore. Its like my stomach has shrunk...if that is possible? That or my brain does not tell me when I'm hungry so I just forget to eat. I mean, I ate some food today. Its still probably isn't to the right number for the calories I need to maintain my weight and that isn't even including the calories I burned from walking on the tour. I'm trying to eat but my body is trying to deny it. Awesome sauce!
Side Note: I bought two new books at Barns and Noble! I havn't been addicted to a series or a book in about a year. Which is sad because I love reading. But I got a romance/action book and a satanic/witch book which are both in the fiction category. They are both are part of a series so I will start with the romance/action book whenever I get time and finish the series then read the other series. I don't like to read two series at once because one is always more entertaining then the other.
We are leaving at 7am tomorrow morning and enduring a 4 hour car ride to Columbus, Ohio to tour Ohio State. Ohio is a really big school compared to the colleges/universities I have toured. Its student population is in the 60,000 range(which is like the third biggest school in the US?) while Vanderbuilt and Clemson are in the high teens or early 20,000s. Ohio actually has a vet program and its pretty renown. My best friend wants to be a child Physiatrist and Ohio also has a great medical field. We have always wanted to go to college together. We arn't against going to different colleges but it would just be really amazing to be able to pursue your career choice and be roommates with your childhood/entire life best friend.
Side Note: Why do men like to see you get irritated at them? And then they act all cute and stuff and then you have to end your fake irritated state because they are a small puppy dog who didn't mean it <3 ugh
And I don't aplogize for any grammatical or spelling errors. :)
