Full Cycle

So my nana wakes me up at 7:30 this morning to inform me that she called my doctor for my sunburn and she proscribed me an oitment to put on my sun burnt back. When my nana left to get the ointment my sister decided that she wanted to peel off all of the skin on my back(which my nana and google specifically said not to do). While she is doing this, I was snap chatting my best friend. She bought a new lip stick/gloss thing and was showing it off. Her job is being a Disney princess or super hero for birthday parties. So she literally uses her money to buy makeup for her job and this chick has ALL the makeup. I can't remember the exact numbers but she has something like 140 eyeshadow colors, 20 lipsticks, 5 mascaras, 15 Eyeliners, 30 blushes, and 8 foundations. I don't know. All I know is that it is a freaking ton of makeup. Oh and when my nana got back she yelled at me and told me I need to stand up to my sister and not let her peel my skin off. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚ I was laughing so hard. I only let my sister do it because I knew that it would piss my nana off(Is piss a bad word? I sincerely apologize if it is).

I didn't ride today because I didn't get to the barn as early as I planned because I opened the trunk of the car but when I went to shut it, it would not shut. So I spent 30 minutes trying to figure it out. I ended up tying this twine/yarn crap to the trunk and the bumper which broke 3 minutes after I left my house... So I just had the trunk open the whole way to the barn and I got a lot of odd looks. Oh well. It also started raining when I was at the barn so I put a feed bowl and water bowl on the trunk in hopes to keep it shut and keep rain out.

My trainer was really tired so Viv and I helped her finish feeding. I was feeding some horses and I look over and see a squirrel. I found a dead squirrel today at the barn! It was in the older horses pasture so I poked it a couple times to make sure it was actually dead and not going to randomly wake back up and attack me. When I decided that it was dead, I picked it up by its tail and carried it around for a little bit. Then I mustered up the courage to grasp its body and carry it around like a little doll for about 15 minutes. I was so very tempted to cut it open and view its anatomy because that stuff is cool to me and one of the reasons why I want to be a vet. The squirrel turned out to be a female and had at one point had babies because her nipples were dropped. She made a really weird sounds if you squeezed her abdominal area. It sounded like squeezing a closed/empty/plastic water bottle. Several selfies were taken πŸ˜‚. My trainer still had not come up from feeding the horses so I decided to prank her. I was debating whether to put the squirrel in the sink or a bucket but those are used for feeding the horses so I figured that on top of the washing machine was probably more sanitary. I will link the video of her reaction at the bottom for anyone who wants to see it. πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚.

So two of our local equine vets had a teaching clinic at one of the vets hospital tonight. Viv and I went and it was kinda interesting but not enough to blog about. The only reason I bring this up is because one of the vets mentioned a cheap anti-bacterial oitment to use and then she said "or you can use silver sulfadiazine which is used for burns on people but it is expensive so you might want to stick to the cheaper stuff". I was thinking in my head "Hell yeah! My insurance just payed for my ponies new anti-bacterial cream! Wahoo!". After the seminar, food and drinks were provided. I met a couple of people and saw old friends. It was nice being around so many people that know a lot about your passion and enjoy sharing their past experiences about horses. Then I talked to both vets about shadowing them so yeah! That was my day.

Actually when we got back to the farm Viv tried to figure out the car dealio for about half an hour and we got it to shut but then it opened again. She ended up just tying it and making a lot of knots and it was awesome. It almost lasted all the way home but on the very last speed bump it gave up and slightly popped open. I got home around 11:30(past my 11 o'oclock curfew) and didn't get yelled at so I would say I had a pretty good day.

PS: I don't apologize for any mistakes I made while writing this because I am using my phone to write this and it is 1:30am.

Hold Up

I have my first essay for college. I low key love writing papers so I'm excited but I'm probably going to fail it because my teacher is hardcore with grades. Side note: every time my boyfriend texts me I automatically do this stupid little giggle like I'm 5. Someone please slap me. (my boyfriend doesn't like reading my blogs because he doesn't know if they are going to be sad or not so hopefully he won't read this so he can't bug me about it) I took a five hour nap... I have this cold/allergy thing and it plus school/work/riding just draining me of all energy. My boyfriend took his ASVAB today for the military and he did really well!!! When he told me I started crying because he has wanted it so bad and I'm so proud of him! PS: the title is the song I was listening to... Hold Up by BeyoncΓ© because she is queen πŸ‘‘

More Beginnings

I had my first English college class this morning!! 😬 The class itself will be pretty hard but the teacher had me cracking up so bad. He was explaining why grammar is important and gave a few teacher experiences. The first one was a sentence that meant to say "I hoard lots of books." but instead of hoard, the student wrote "whored". Then my teacher said he wrote beside the word "Does your mother know about this?". God. I think I was the only one who found it amusing. The other example said something like "The Union depilitated the Confederate forces." The reason this is so funny is because the student meant deBilitated. DePilitated means to remove ones hair... so my teacher then goes on to describe what it would look like if the Union forced their way into the confederates base and started shaving all the men and stating that they took their manhood. I thought this was the funniest thing. I was still chuckling for a good 5 minutes after he finis...

Fun

So first of all. I love my job but we were understaffed tonight because you know. It's a Monday. Not that many people come in during the week days. WELL YOU COULDV'E FOOLED ME TONIGHT! I was the only hostess which meant I was already doing the job of 4 people which would have been fine if a bunch of people didn't decide to come in at once and have a line to the freaking door. Luckily I had some help from my coworkers(waiters/waitresses) who sat some people for me while I was seating large parties and what not. It was stressful but I got through it. Also. I had to use my anxiety medication yesterday. Which I'm bummed about because it's frustrating not being about to control it and when it comes or what it comes from. Granted I know exactly what some of it comes from. The medication worked great and made me not give any you know whats about anything but it still sucks having to depend on medication to fix my many problems. Side note: My doctor is trying to find me...
