I spent most of the day cleaning my desk and room. Then later I went out with my best friend to go chair shopping but we ended up having to much fun doing random things in Target. We messed around in the makeup and my friend had a long day at band camp so she just laid down on the ground for 10ish minutes. It was quite hysterical watching people's faces when they saw her as they passed the aisle. Then we literally listened to every music card. We made it to the graduation cards and then it kind of hit us that we are seniors now. It honestly feels like I was a freshman like a year ago. It's just crazy how fast high school has gone by. I guess it's kinda bitter sweet because I have loved my high school experience but I'm ready for college. I'm also glad that I'm taking college classes this year so I can get a feel of what college is like. However there is still that constant fear and anxiety about not getting into the college you want or not being able to enter into the profession of your choice.
I'm super excited to get my room finished. My bed feels much bigger with how it is placed now which makes my room also seem bigger. I'm kinda just relying on the fact that I will find a comfy, cheap reading chair in an antique shop(They were closed when we got there which is how we ended up at target) The chair doesn't have to be pretty because I can always have it reupholstered. And actually if I find one that needs to be reupholstered I can buy an ottoman and then match the new fabric to the ottoman. I do know that I will be going to target for my throw and pillow for my chair because they have hella cute accessories and accents. Oooh! And I will eventually put a fake tree behind my bed. 😊
Later, when I got home, I cleaned my closet and hung up some shirts. I'm trying to get a lot done because first of all I have been in a cleaning mood for a week now and I'm not sure how much longer that will last. And I have to work most of the day tomorrow and then go see the boss lady after work. Then Friday I will be busy again. Anyways, most of the mess left in my room, closet, or office/desk area are random items that don't have a place they belong. So they are either in a drawer of misfit items, on the floor misfit items, or laying in the hallway of misfit items hoping that they will be claimed by one of my family memebers(honestly if you don't get the "misfit" reference either you a blank moment or you haven't seen the Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer movie and we probably won't get along).
Side note: My sister bought me this soap the other day from Helen, Georgia, which I love, that is supposed to help with depression and anxiety which is interesting because it smells just like the boss lady's house.
Additional side note: I did not proof read because I have an early start tomorrow so you will just have to get over it. I also just got a really weird phone call?
